Following the conclusion of the 2025 NBA draft, the Los Angeles Lakers signed former Saint Mary's guard Augustas Marciulionis to an Exhibit 10 deal, guaranteeing him a spot on the South Bay Lakers in the G-League.
Marciulionis was named the WCC Player of the Year each of the past two years, leading the Gaels to back-to-back regular season championships. The 6'4 playmaker emerged as an elite pick and roll specialist for coach Randy Bennett, averaging 14.2 points, 5.9 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals as a senior in 2024-25.
The Lithuanian guard is the son of Basketball Hall of Famer Sarunas Marciulionis, who had a prolific career overseas and in the Olympics before spending seven seasons in the NBA with Golden State, Sacramento, Seattle, and Denver.

Marciulionis did not participate in the pre-draft process with a foot injury, but is expected to be healthy in late July. Not getting a chance to play in summer league will hurt his chances of earning a two-way contract, but the Lakers seem interested in giving Marciulionis a chance to prove himself with South Bay once he's fully recovered.
Saint Mary's has put a handful of players into the NBA during Bennett's tenure, most notably longtime veteran guard Patty Mills but also Matthew Dellavedova, Jock Landale, and most recently Alex Ducas.
Marciulionis will join Gonzaga's Ryan Nembhard (Dallas) and Ben Gregg (Boston), as well as San Francisco's Marcus Williams (Miami), as newcomers in the Las Vegas Summer League this year.
Play will begin on July 10 and games will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center on UNLV's campus in Las Vegas.
