Los Angeles Lakers superstar guard Luka Doncic was asked about his teammate, rookie guard Dalton Knecht, on Monday night after a win against the San Antonio Spurs.
Doncic was initially confused by the question about Knecht after a reporter mistakenly noted that the former Tennessee Vols standout led the team in scoring against the Spurs.
"Luka, Dalton Knecht had another solid game tonight, he led the team in scoring, what have you seen from him during your time here that's helped impact winning," asked a reporter during the post-game press conference.
"Who'd you say," responded Donic while looking down at the stat sheet.
"Dalton? He had a great game, he's had a lot of great games," continued Doncic. "He's learning how to play, I'm learning how to play with him. He's a promising rookie for sure."
Luka spoke postgame about the shot quality from the team, facing Jokic and the Nuggets again, and Dalton Knecht.

Guard Austin Reaves is the player that actually led the Lakers in scoring on Monday night against San Antonio, scoring 30 points in 36 minutes of action.
Doncic added 21 points.
Knecht, who played 20 minutes in the win, scored 13 points to go along with three rebounds, three assists, and one block.
Maybe the reporter meant to point out that Knecht led the Lakers in scoring off the bench. Either way, Doncic was clearly confused by the reporter's question.
Knecht, who was selected in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft by the Lakers, is averaging 9.5 points per game so far this season.
