The people around Doncic knew this matchup would attract a lot of attention, which is likely why they suggested this parking gesture to the Slovenian star. Jordan Brand also released a video where Doncic switches the license plates on a hypercar 'Koenigsegg Regera' from Dallas to Los Angeles.

This car was also parked at Doncic's parking lot for fans to see, so all of this seemed very perfectly planned and orchestrated. 

He's the new franchise star in Los Angeles and he's doing everything he can to earn their support. His triple-double with 19 points (6-17 FG), 15 rebounds, 12 assists, three steals, and two blocks in the win over the Mavericks brought happiness to the fans.

Watching Doncic play in a Lakers jersey against the Mavericks was a surreal moment for fans around the world.
