The Los Angeles Lakers are now 8-3 after a 121-111 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night.

Luka Doncic led the way once again with 38 points, and the former Dallas Mavericks star is averaging 37 points with 10 rebounds and 9.5 assists so far this season.

Austin Reaves had 24 points and has 31.1 points per game, along with 9.3 assists and 5.1 rebounds.

So far, LeBron James has not played this season after developing sciatica during training camp.

However, Lakers head coach JJ Redick said that James will practice with the G League's South Bay Lakers as he begins to ramp up towards his debut.

With James' return coming soon, Doncic weighed in on the development regarding the superstar.

"We can't wait," Doncic said, via Lakers Nation. "All of us can't wait. It's Bron, so it's always good to have him back. Hopefully soon."

The Lakers lost on opening night to the Golden State Warriors and lost six days later to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Since then, they have six wins in their last seven games, so things have been going well in LA.

Doncic is currently 1st in the NBA in points per game and Reaves is 5th, and the return of James should only help this team even more.

While James doesn't have an exact return timeframe just yet, the Lakers have three more games left on this road trip before coming home on Tuesday, November 18 to face the Utah Jazz.
