Luka Doncic has given the NBA fans another one of his classic stare-down moments during Game 3 of the Western Conference finals. As the Dallas Mavericks were on the verge of winning their third consecutive game, Doncic made sure to let Anthony Edwards know about the team’s victory. The moment quickly went viral as fans were signing high praise for the star’s winning attitude.
Every time Luka Doncic is about to win a playoff series, he stares at his opponent and talks trash. The tradition was started with his on-court rival Devin Booker and has been going on ever since. After getting a safe lead in the game, Doncic stared at Anthony Edwards as he had some words with the guard. During the postgame sideline interview, Doncic was asked about what he said to Edwards but the star refused to reveal the conversation.
I can't say. No Luka Doncic at the postgame sideline interview
After getting caught in the second game, Doncic agreed that his words to Ant-Man were not TV-appropriate. The guard has shown a competitive mentality throughout the series as he also taunted the Minnesota fans at the Target Center.

The Dallas Mavericks guard also has the right to do so as he has been fantastic in the series. Doncic is almost averaging in 30-point triple-doubles while playing for 40+ minutes. In the third game, Doncic scored 33 points, six rebounds, and eight assists while shooting 50% from the field. The Mavericks are one win away from upsetting Edwards and the Timberwolves squad.
Ant-Man is also known for his competitive mindset even more so than the Slovenian. After his consecutive poor shooting performances, Edwards assured that he would have a better outing in the third game. The guard stuck to his words and delivered but the team still lost the game.
Even after the upset, Edwards is keeping a positive attitude despite the league’s history of three losses. During the press conference, the 22-year-old stated that the team cannot be negative at this point and is focusing on one win at a time.
I never think the sky is falling. I don't know I’m always positive. I’m always happy. I’ve been through the worst, so the sky is never falling for me. Anthony Edwards at the post game presser

Edwards’ efforts did not help the Timberwolves as the other players’ performance did not live up to the mark. It would be difficult for Minnesota to make a comeback after the third loss. However, it would be interesting to see if the team avoids a sweep in the next game. Game 4 will be held on Tuesday as the Mavericks will again have the home-court advantage.
