Luka Doncic and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates continued their offseason bonding trip in Slovenia on Saturday, with viral photos showing members of the team kayaking together ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The latest activity comes as Doncic hosts the Lakers in his home country for several days of workouts and team-building activities before training camp. Doncic reportedly chartered a plane for 14 Lakers players to make the trip, which has included basketball, golf, fishing and sightseeing.
Los Angeles opened its Slovenian visit Thursday with a “First Supper” attended by Austin Reaves, Bronny James, Walker Kessler and several of the Lakers’ other new additions following LeBron James’ decision to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers last month.
The itinerary reportedly also includes dinner at one of Doncic’s favorite restaurants, fishing at Lake Bled and playing golf.

Doncic provided another glimpse into the trip early Saturday when he shared several images of Lakers players working out together on the basketball court. Photos later surfaced of the group kayaking, adding another activity to the team’s busy Slovenian getaway.
The trip gives Los Angeles’ revamped roster an early opportunity to develop chemistry away from the pressures of the regular season.
With Doncic now firmly established as the centerpiece of the Lakers following James’ departure, the Slovenian trip also represents an early example of the star guard taking a larger leadership role as Los Angeles prepares for a new era.
