Luka Doncic’s Spokesperson Breaks Silence on Child Support Filing in California

Earlier this month, Doncic had to end his engagement with Anamaria Goltes. But Goltes filed a child support petition in a California Court. However, it was without Doncic’s prior knowledge, who had already filed a family law action back in his home country, Slovenia, last month.

So, as per the Spokesperson, “Luka is seeking dismissal of this case simply because Slovenia, not California, is the appropriate forum for adjudication of this dispute.” However, the Lakers’ star keeps being there for his daughters.

Luka Doncic’s Feelings About His Daughters

Doncic and Goltes’ relationship is almost a decade old, as they started dating in 2016. The couple had their first daughter in 2023 and their second in December last year. Calling of the engagement was a “tough decision”, but Doncic had a reason.

I love my daughters more than anything, and I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season, but that hasn’t been possible”, Doncic told ESPN. “So I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement.”

The birth of his first baby “was the happiest day of (his) life”, and Doncic highlighted, “everything I do is for my daughters’ happiness, and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life I can.”

So, the current situation may look messy, but surely a father will find a way to be there for his kids.
