Clifford tested positive for COVID-19 on April 22 and will miss his sixth consecutive game on Monday when the Magic take on the Detroit Pistons.
The 59-year-old has received both doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine but is not yet considered fully vaccinated by the CDC because two weeks have not passed since his second shot.
Magic assistant Tyrone Corbin has filled in during Clifford's absence, leading the team to a 2-3 record.
