Magic Johnson Had Words After Lakers' Luka Doncic Drops 60 Points

The Los Angeles Lakers picked up their eighth straight win with a 134-126 performance to deal with the Miami Heat. Everyone was left in awe after Luka Doncic scored an effortless 60 points (18-30 FG, 9-17 RPT, 15-19 FT) to beat Miami. The Lakers now have a 44-25 record, holding a xx-game advantage as the No. 3 seed in the West.

Doncic's performance against the Heat drew rave reviews from almost all corners of the basketball world. The biggest message easily had to come from a five-time champion with the Lakers - Magic Johnson.

Johnson first shared a post on X where he called Doncic the most unguardable player in the NBA while also giving props to LeBron James for his triple-double in a supporting role behind Doncic.

"Luka Doncic is the most unguardable player in the NBA! He scored a season high 60 points in tonight’s win against the Miami Heat. Luka has to be one of the top 2 or 3 players being considered in the MVP race. LeBron James is also playing out of his mind! He recorded a 19-point, 15-rebound, and 10-assist triple-double and led the Lakers to a 134-126 win."

Johnson shared another post where he complimented the Lakers for peaking at the right time.

"The Lakers won their 8th straight game and they are playing their best basketball at the right time - just as the Playoffs are approaching."
