Since Jimmy Butler's arrival, the Golden State Warriors have been looking like an entirely transformed squad.

There is a new energy in the Bay Area as Stephen Curry now has a co-star.

However, the team has yet to play at full strength, as young Warriors star Jonathan Kuminga has yet to return from an injury he suffered two months ago.

Butler and Curry have posted a 7-1 record together since the trade deadline, showing the Warriors' new and improved ceiling on the season.

Having Kuminga rejoin the lineup could add another layer of gravity and talent to help Golden State make a strong push at an improved seed, as they are currently No. 7 in the Western Conference.

"All signs" point towards Kuminga's return date

Kuminga has been out for two months with an ankle injury, but, according to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel, the young star forward's return is on the horizon, and all signs point toward one key return date.

"Ahead of the Warriors' game on Monday night against the Hornets, all signs point toward Kuminga suiting up and taking the court on Saturday against the Detroit Pistons after the team's current five-game East Coast road trip ends," Siegel reported

The injury came at a brutal time for the G League Ignite product, who is currently in the middle of a contract season.

Kuminga's return could bring a massive impact

The Warriors had a hot start to the season, which rapidly fizzled. Looking for answers to get Curry help, Kuminga began to emerge as a star.

Averaging 16.8 points per game this season, the 22-year-old can play third-fiddle to Curry and Butler while providing a high-level, winning impact.

The Warriors' on-court chemistry and rhythm have been much improved with Butler's arrival, and Kuminga simply has to try and benefit from the system rather than force any level of production.
