The Chicago Bulls have been one of the best stories to begin this 2025-26 NBA season.

The Chicago Bulls are one of four remaining undefeated teams left in the NBA with a 3-0 record.

The Bulls looked destined for the lottery, but so far they look like a fun team that plays hard led by Josh Giddey, Coby White and rising star Matas Buzelis.

It’s still early, but the Bulls have shown a lot of good signs of development and they seem like a team that can turn the corner fairly quickly.

Bill Simmons says he likes the Chicago Bulls ‘finishing five’ and thinks Matas Buzelis can be a ‘leap guy’

The Bulls have opened up the season with impressive victories over the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks, all teams that were penciled in as playoff teams coming into the new season.

The Bulls will look to make it 4-0 when they host the Sacramento Kings, which is a game they should win.

During this impressive start for the Bulls, Matas Buzelis has had some nice performances. He dropped 21 in the Bulls season opener and scored 16 in their win against the Hawks.

Bill Simmons has loved what the Bulls have been able to do late in games with their closing lineup and he praised Buzelis.

“He said all the right things, did all the right things, he looks like a different player.

“I actually like their finishing five. It’s offensively hard to stop.

“He might be a ‘leap guy’.”

The Chicago Bulls finally have a direction and it looks promising

For years, the Bulls were stuck in the middle and didn’t pick a direction.

Chicago finally committed to a youth movement when they didn’t bring back DeMar DeRozan and traded Zach LaVine.

Nikola Vucevic, who has been in a ton of trade rumors over the years has remained on the team, but he has served as a valuable veteran presence.

The Bulls seemingly started to turn things around when they traded Alex Caruso to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Josh Giddey, who has been crucial to the Bulls’ success.

The Bulls now have a defined direction with a good young core to continue to build around for the future.
