Mavericks Expected to Re-Sign Tim Hardaway Jr.

The Mavericks are expected to re-sign Tim Hardaway Jr. early in free agency, according to Marc Stein. Boban Marjanovic is also expected to be retained.

Hardaway Jr. came to Dallas in 2019 as part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade, as he averaged 16.6 points per game including 39.1 percent shooting from three last season.

The Mavericks hope to build a legitimate title contender around Luka Doncic, and re-signing a legitimate threat to score the ball anywhere on the court will help them reach that level.
