Dallas won, 130-120, and finished with the fourth seed in the Western Conference. On Saturday, the Mavericks will begin the NBA Playoffs with a first-round series against the Utah Jazz.
Doncic averaged 28.4 points, 8.7 assists, 9.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game this season, leading the Mavericks in all four categories. The fourth-year player earned All-Star honors for the third consecutive season.
The Mavericks had a chance at passing the Golden State Warriors for the third seed, but the Warriors held off Dallas by beating the New Orleans Pelicans.
