Mavericks' Luka Doncic: 'I still believe we can win' Western Conference Finals

The Dallas Mavericks avoided a series sweep by beating the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, but Luka Doncic says the team is capable of winning more than one game. The three-time All-Star thinks the Mavericks can be the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

"I mean, I still believe we can win, you know," Doncic told reporters Wednesday night, via ESPN's Tim MacMahon. "We're going to believe until the end. ... I just want to win the game and that's it. We got more to do, you know. This is nothing. We got three more."

Doncic, 23, scored 30 points with nine assists and 14 rebounds in the win. Dallas collectively shot 50 percent from the field and 46.5 from beyond the three-point arc. Golden State managed to make just 35.7 percent of its three-pointers.

Dallas is the 147th NBA team to lose the first three games of a series in the playoffs. Of the first 146, only 14 forced a Game 6, and just three forced Game 7. None came back to win the series.

In 2003, the Mavericks blew a 3-0 lead against the Portland Trail Blazers in a first-round series before rallying to win Game 7.
