The Dallas Mavericks will face the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night following the finalization of one of the biggest trades in NBA history.

Dallas is set to tip off against the 76ers at 7 p.m. ET. This will be the second night of the post-Luka Doncic era for the Mavericks.

Doncic was sent to the Los Angeles Lakers, while the Mavericks acquired Anthony Davis from the Lakers in a three-team trade that also involved the shipment of a couple of draft picks to the Utah Jazz.

Before the Mavericks-76ers game on Tuesday, Dallas announced important news regarding the health of Kyrie Irving.

Irving has been removed from the injury report after missing Sunday's matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to right shoulder soreness.

Irving is currently averaging 24.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

He's now the cornerstone of the Mavericks' franchise, alongside Anthony Davis, both of whom have experience in hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

While Dallas has yet to announce whether Irving is a game-time decision or fully activated for the Tuesday night matchup, he seems to be heading in a positive direction, healing from his shoulder soreness.

Davis heads into the game against the 76ers as questionable, with the trade from the Lakers "pending" physicals and other necessary precautions.
