Former Dallas Mavericks center Moses Brown is making his presence felt in the G League once again. After signing a 10-day contract with the Mavericks on Feb. 20, the well-traveled big man returned to the Westchester Knicks, the affiliate of the New York Knicks, following the expiration of his deal.
Since re-joining Westchester, Brown has been nothing short of dominant. On Thursday night, he recorded 25 points and 21 rebounds while shooting 71.4 percent from the field. He made an immediate impact, tallying 15 points and nine rebounds in the first quarter alone, on his way to securing his fourth 20-20 game of the season.

His latest performance comes just two days after another monster outing in which he posted 28 points and 21 rebounds, capping off an impressive week for the 25-year-old. Across 28 games in the Tip-Off Tournament and regular season, he is averaging 16.6 points and 14.8 rebounds while shooting 61.2 percent from the field.
Brown's dominance on the glass has been a defining feature of his season. His 298 regular-season rebounds rank second in the G League, and his efficiency is equally impressive with a 22.7 Player Efficiency Rating, the eighth-highest mark in the league.
Despite excelling in the G League throughout his six-year career, the 7-foot-2 center has struggled to establish himself as a full-time NBA player. He has had countless opportunities, suiting up for the Mavericks on two separate occasions as well as the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers, who he represented earlier this season.
In 163 career NBA games, Brown has averaged 4.9 points and 5.3 rebounds in just 11.7 minutes per game. During his most recent stint with Dallas, he showed flashes of his potential, finishing with 20 points, 11 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in a win over the Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 27. He followed that up with 18 points and nine rebounds in just 21 minutes against the Milwaukee Bucks on Mar. 1.
With the Mavericks battling injuries, particularly in the frontcourt with Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II sidelined, there seemed to be a potential opportunity for Brown to remain with the team. However, Dallas ultimately opted not to extend his stay.
