Megan Thee Stallion has one word to describe Klay Thompson

It's official: Dallas Mavericks star Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion are the new power couple.

They made the rounds with a red carpet appearance at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala at Gotham Hall in New York City on Wednesday night.

When asked about this recent turn of events, the hip-hop superstar had one word to describe her new boyfriend.

“I have never dated somebody so kind,” Megan told Page Six on the red carpet. “This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy.”

The couple had already sparked dating rumors when fans spotted Thompson in the background of one of her snaps on social media, and it's now official.

“I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me,” she said of Thompson.

Thompson is coming off an up-and-down first season away from the Golden State Warriors.

He signed a multi-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks to provide a much-needed spark from beyond the arc after their struggles from three in the NBA Finals.

Thompson averaged 14.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.0 three-pointers per game on 39.1 percent from three-point territory, posting the second-lowest scoring average of his career.

Now, with Cooper Flagg and Anthony Davis in town, his floor-spacing will continue to carry a steep weight on Jason Kidd's team.

In the meantime, he's just enjoying life.
