Grammy Award winner Megan Thee Stallion and Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson are officially done as a couple.

The "Savage" singer soft launched her relationship with Thompson in July 2025. They went public that same month by appearing together at her Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala. She then showed her support for Thompson by sitting courtside at several Mavericks games this season.

Judging by her latest Instagram post, Thompson wasn't matching her energy.

"Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house... got 'cold feet.' Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous.' B---h I need a REAL break after this one," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "Bye y'all."

Megan Thee Stallion later confirmed in a statement to TMZ that she dumped Thompson.

"I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," she said. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity."

What's next for Klay on and off the court?

Off the hardwood, Thompson will have to figure out how he wants to handle his breakup with Megan Thee Stallion. We're not sure if he knew she was going to go public with this information.

As for his NBA career, Thompson is unsure if he'll be back with the Mavericks.

"I'm not sure. I mean, I'm under contract, so I do [expect to be here]," Thompson said, via Athlon Sports. "But I've definitely learned in my time in Dallas, things can change on a dime. I'm just here to have a great time and put my best foot forward, that's all you can do, really."

Suffice to say, it's going to be an interesting offseason for Thompson.
