Memphis Grizzlies Make Roster Move Before Pelicans Game

On Tuesday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies will host the New Orleans Pelicans in Tennessee.  Before the game, the team announced that they had made a roster move by assigning a player to the G League.  Via Grizzlies PR: "The @memgrizz have assigned Jake LaRavia to the @MemphisHustle." LaRavia has played in eight NBA games so far this season and is averaging 3.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest while shooting 34.4% from the field and 15.0% from the three-point range.   The 22-year-old was the 19th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and is in his second season in the league (all with the Grizzlies).  His career averages are 3.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest while shooting 37.8% from the field and 29.7% from the three-point range in 43 regular season games.  He will likely spend a lot of time going back and forth between the Grizzlies and the Hustle (G League).  As for the Grizzlies, they have gotten off to a slow start to the season and come into the night with a 6-19 record in their first 25 games.  They are
