Metta World Peace had hilarious reaction to Lakers-Rockets fight

Saturday night’s melee between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets earned the approval of one guy who knows a thing or two about melees himself.

The Rockets’ 124-115 victory over the Lakers was marred by a huge brawl in the fourth quarter involving Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, and Brandon Ingram.

After the dust had settled, retired ex-All-Star Metta World Peace, who was attending the game and played for both teams during his NBA career, came up to a row of reporters and spoke glowingly about the punches thrown during the altercation. Here is what he said, per Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report:

World Peace, now 38, was, of course, involved in his fair share of dust-ups as a player, the most infamous of which was the Malice at the Palace brawl in 2004 when he was a member of the Indiana Pacers. The former Defensive Player of the Year has even been up to some of his old tricks in recent months as well, so it’s safe to assume that when he says it was a good fight, it was a good fight.
