Miami’s 2005-06 roster will be on hand to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of franchise’s first championship.

First Round: Heat vs. Bulls (4–2)
Miami survived a physical, ugly series against a young Chicago team. Wade carried the offense, Shaq battled foul trouble, and Miami closed it out at home. Not pretty, but they advanced.
Conference Semifinals: Heat vs. Nets (4–1)
This is where Miami looked dangerous. Wade was unstoppable in transition and the Heat’s defense smothered New Jersey. The series ended with Wade hitting the game-winner in Game 5: a statement moment.
Eastern Conference Finals: Heat vs. Pistons (4–2)
The Pistons were the defending champs and the East’s standard. Miami went down 2–1, then responded with two overtime wins that flipped the series. Wade’s clutch scoring and Riley’s defensive adjustments broke Detroit’s rhythm. Miami closed it out in Game 6 to reach the Finals for the first time.
NBA Finals Recap: Heat vs. Mavericks (4–2)
The Heat entered the series looking for their first championship in franchise history.
Game 1 and 2 looked troubling, as Miami lost both games and the team looked slow compared to the offensively flashy Mavericks.
Game 3 was a turning point in the series with Dwayne Wade taking over. Miami would go on to win the four straight games to win the title.
