Miami Heat's Season Ends With 55-Point Loss

The suffering and roller coaster ride of emotions has finally ended for Miami Heat fans. From rough injuries to start the season out to seeing the squad contend for an NBA Playoffs spot without Jimmy Butler, this squad, led by Coach Erik Spoelstra and Pat Riley, has gone through a lot. It was just unfortunate that their collapse happened during a 138-83 Game 4 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This NBA Playoffs game looked like it was fairly over after the first quarter. The Heat had only managed to score 17 points while everyone on the Cavaliers exploded for 43 points. It did not help that Coach Erik Spoelstra's team followed it up with an even worse second quarter with a mere 16 points.

The only major statistic that the Heat got away with was their 15 offensive rebounds compared to the Cavaliers' eight. Other than that, it was a very clear demolition job. Six players from Kenny Atkinson's roster scored double digits, with 14 of them contributing three points or more.

The Heat, on the other hand, were suffocated from the start of this game. Tyler Herro, their supposed star, played 31 minutes but only produced four points. Nikola Jovic was the one who led the scoring with 24 points, and he was the only player who managed to get more than 14 points in this game.

There was clearly no answer that the Heat could give that was enough to keep them in this NBA Playoffs series. While they got through the Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks, the Cavaliers were just miles ahead of them which led to this 4-0 sweep.
