Michael Jordan's Former Teammate Reacts to Tom Brady Calling LeBron James the Greatest Ever

On Saturday at Fanatics Fest in New York, NFL legend Tom Brady called Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James "the greatest ever."

Brady and James were on the same stage during a live taping of "The Shop."

James is the leading scorer in NBA history. He's a four-time MVP, a four-time champion and a four-time Finals MVP with career averages of 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists.

A 21-time All-Star, James is the only player in NBA history to rank top five all-time in points and assists. He became the oldest player ever (40) to make an All-NBA team this season. The Lakers star made the All-NBA Second Team.

The GOAT debate between James and Chicago Bulls icon Michael Jordan is among the most discussed topics in basketball discourse. Ron Harper, who won three championships with Jordan on the Bulls, has Jordan as his GOAT.

Harper took to X to react to Brady's comments about James, saying that they were just an opinion.

Jordan won five MVPs, one Defensive Player of the Year Award, six rings, six Finals MVPs, three steals titles and 10 scoring titles with the Bulls in the '90s.

Chicago went 6-0 in the NBA Finals and three-peated twice during the Jordan era.

Jordan, who also played for the Washington Wizards, is first in NBA history in points per game in the regular season and postseason.

MJ holds the NBA record for most points (63) scored in a playoff game.

The last time Jordan was asked to talk about James was in 2020. The Hall of Famer said he was a fan of The King.

“He’s an unbelievable player,” Jordan said of James in 2020. “He’s one of the best players in the world, if not the best player in the world. I know it’s a natural tendency to compare eras to eras and it’s gonna continue to happen. I’m a fan of his. I love watching him play."

Jordan has joined NBA on NBC as a special contributor. It will be fascinating to hear his thoughts on James and today's game.
