Mike Breen to make return for Game 3 of NBA Finals

As the 2022 NBA Finals shifts to Boston for Game 3 on Wednesday night, Hall of Fame sportscaster Mike Breen will be making his return to the ABC broadcast team after missing nearly two weeks while battling COVID-19.

Breen missed Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat and was out for Games 1 and 2 of the Finals as well. Mark Jones filled in for Breen as the play-by-play man for the last three assignments.

The 61-year-old Breen was joined on the sideline by fellow announcer Jeff Van Gundy and ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski in Game 1, but the former returned for Game 2.
