Giannis Antetokounmpo is considering his future after a difficult spell with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks are 10th in the Eastern Conference standings, with a 10-13 record, and things are probably going to get worse.
Antetokounmpo suffered a calf injury in the Bucks’ game against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday that will probably keep him out for a while.
This could see Doc Rivers’ team slide even further down the standings and away from the playoff places.
Unfortunately, it has become abundantly clear that Antetokounmpo needs to leave Milwaukee if he wants to win another championship.
So, NBA Analysis has drafted a mock trade that would pair the Greek Freak with Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers are already second in the Western Conference and probably only need a few minor moves to become top-tier title contenders.
However, the Lakers have proven time and time again that they will not pass up on the opportunity to bring another superstar to LA.
General manager Rob Pelinka does not have many valuable assets available to him, but Austin Reaves could be the centerpiece of an Antetokounmpo trade.
The shooting guard has developed into an All-NBA contender this season, averaging more than 28 points per game.

Reaves is also one of the most popular players in the league, which could help the Bucks’ front office appease their fan base.
Alongside Rui Hachimura, Dalton Knecht, and a future first-round pick, the Bucks would have the foundations of a rebuild.
Meanwhile, the Lakers would surely not turn down the opportunity to have the best big three of all time: Antetokounmpo, Doncic, and LeBron James.
The Bucks could command a plethora of young players and draft picks in a deal for Antetokounmpo, but that would also be a risky move.
There is no guarantee that any of those players or picks will turn into stars, meaning they could be stuck in a rebuilding phase for several more years.
Who do you think is most likely?

It would make more sense to trade for an established All-Star who can lead the team into a new era.
Reaves is the perfect example of an up-and-coming star, and the Bucks will be hard-pressed to find a better player around whom to build the team.
He is still improving at 27 years of age and could even average 30 points per game in Milwaukee.
