Myles Turner Thanks the Indiana Pacers As He Joins the Division-Rival Milwaukee Bucks

In 2015, Myles Turner was drafted 11th overall by the Indiana Pacers. As a young center from the University of Texas, Turner was a promising prospect that was deserving of his lottery selection.

Ten years later, Turner has become the longest-tenured Pacer on a squad that came just one game short of hoisting the 2025 NBA Championship. Now, Turner is leaving Indiana to join the Milwaukee Bucks. He has now posted a heartfelt thank you to the team on social media.

Turner has drawn criticism from Pacers fans as well as analysts for leaving the team that he has spent his entire career with, particularly after almost lifting the Larry O’Brien Trophy in his last game for the team.
