Mitchell Robinson is having the time of his life. The New York Knicks big man can finally call himself an NBA champion after all the tough years he experienced with the team.
Not only did Robinson get to raise the Larry O’Brien Trophy after the Knicks defeated Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in five games in the 2026 NBA Finals, but he also got a sweet present from country music star Luke Combs.
Robinson is a big fan of the genre, and on Tuesday, the longtime Knicks center showed off a care package from the “Where The Wild Things Are” singer via Instagram.
“What up y’all it’s your boy Mitch. Y’all already know what time it is. So, look, today we are switching it up because we have a pack, and this is not a regular package. This is a package from this guy [Luke Combs],” Robinson said in the video.
“So we’re gonna get into this. That’s it. Most of y’all know big country guy here. So this was amazing to get when I saw it at the gym this morning. I really appreciate it”
Nobody is happier than @23savage____ getting a @lukecombs care package.

Combs saw Mitchell’s post and left a comment.
“GO KNICKS!!!” Combs wrote.
The 28-year-old Robinson has been with the Knicks since 2018, when the former Western Kentucky basketball star was selected by New York in the second round (36th overall) of that year’s NBA draft.
While Karl-Anthony Towns was the clear top guy in New York’s frontcourt, Robinson provided solid play as KAT’s backup, especially in terms of rim protection and rebounding.
