Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner delivered a powerful message ahead of Game 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, emphasizing his championship mindset and gratitude for the opportunity.

In a video shared by ClutchPoints via X on Friday, Turner stated, “Man, I’m playing for a championship. That’s the way I’m looking at it. It’s such a blessing to be in this position. This is my 10th try and to finally be able to be here in this position, I’m taking it all in.”

His words reflect a seasoned player’s resolve, acknowledging the rarity of reaching this stage after nearly a decade in the league.

Turner’s comments come at a critical juncture, with the Pacers trailing 3-2 in the series but forcing a decisive Game 7 in Oklahoma City.

Despite a challenging offensive performance in Game 4, where he scored 12 points on 3-of-10 shooting, Turner’s defensive presence remains vital.

Even though he wasn't firing on all cylinders offensively, Turner compensated by posting a +19 in Game 6, the highest plus minus of any player.

Fans and analysts are calling for a breakout game from the 29-year-old, who has yet to fully ignite in the series.

As the Thunder’s home crowd looms large, Turner’s focus on “putting work down” and “getting results” underscores his determination.

With the series on the line, Turner’s message is clear: he’s ready to seize this moment and deliver for Indiana.

Game 7 promises to be a test of wills, and Turner’s leadership could be the difference-maker in a potential upset.
