Aside from his persistent injuries, prolific forward Kawhi Leonard is widely known for his elite two-way skills. A feared scorer who can get buckets from anywhere on the court and a relentless defender capable of shutting down even the toughest opponents, Leonard has solidified himself as one of the best players in the NBA.

But while his on-court abilities are certainly impressive, it's his off-court personality that often surprises and entertains fans. Speaking on "The Draymond Green Show," Kawhi's Los Angeles Clippers teammate Norman Powell recently shared how funny Leonard can be.

Fun Guy indeed

One of Leonard's nicknames is the "Fun Guy," and he's earned that for a reason. While the 6'7" forward rarely shows any emotions on the floor or when he's out in public, to the point that people joke that he might be a robot, Powell shared an anecdote that depicted Kawhi's terrific sense of humor in the locker room.

"We in Toronto, right? We just got blown out by Milwaukee, and we come into film the next day, and Nick Nurse is talking about roles and how our offense can get better. You know, we just got blown out," Norman said. "And so he's telling everybody what they should do, and he gets to Kawhi, and he's like, he's talking about trying to move the ball, you know what I mean?"

"And so he's like, 'You know, like even Kawhi, you come down, man, you know what I'm saying, just moving the ball for the hell of it.' And Kawhi's like, you know, got the deep voice, like, 'Yeah, I don't think I should move the ball for the hell of it,'" Powell continued.

Powell and the rest of his Raptors teammates were initially taken back by Kawhi's response. However, the six-time All-Star wasn't done yet, reiterating that his primary job is to put the ball in the basket.

Locker room burst out laughing

Powell, a 6'3" super scorer from UCLA, narrated that coaches usually have something to say whenever a player shares an opinion. But in this case, Nurse couldn't say a word.

"And like, you know, as a head coach, you know, you usually got something to say back, and you don't know what to say because, like, nobody was expecting it. And he's just like, 'Nah,' as monotone as hell, like, 'Nah, I ain't gonna move the ball for the hell of it.' And everybody just starts busting up laughing in the locker room!" Norman stated.

Kidding aside, the Clippers must be happy with where they are at the moment. With Powell leading the team in scoring, averaging 23.6 points on 49 percent shooting, L.A. has a 14-11 record, which is good for sixth in the Western Conference. In addition, the team is looking forward to "The Klaw's" return. The talented forward recently joined the team's practice and is expected to return to action very soon.
