There’s something about a fresh ratings update that feels like checking your phone after a long nap — you’re hoping for something good, expecting something bad, and mentally preparing for chaos either way. NBA 2K26 delivered exactly that with its second player ratings update, bringing boosts for rising stars, drops for struggling vets, and a handful of position tweaks that will definitely send MyNBA and MyTEAM players back to their lineup screens.
Shoutout to Pete Toal, who dropped the full breakdown on social and clearly put in the work gathering every single change across all 30 teams. This is one of those updates where the details matter, and thanks to his tracking, we’ve got a clean, complete look at every OVR shift and position tweak pushed in Update #2. Credit where it’s due — that’s hours of grinding through the roster data so the rest of us don’t have to.
Update #2 is officially live, and it’s a big one. From big jumps like Daniss Jenkins (+9) and Derik Queen (+6) to tough slides like Jared McCain (-4) and John Collins (-3), this patch leaves its mark across nearly every team. The league’s elite also sees movement, with names like Donovan Mitchell, Cade Cunningham, Devin Booker, and Tyrese Maxey all shifting.
(Below are all players and changes included in the official update. OVR increases are shown in (+) and decreases in (-).)
