Highlights

  • Patch 3.0 delivers new scans and visual updates across multiple players
  • Key hairstyle and likeness refreshes headline the update
  • One player’s improved look already drawing positive reactions
  • Visual changes arrive alongside gameplay and MyCareer tuning

NBA 2K26 Patch 3.0 has arrived, and if your MyCareer player has ever stood next to an NPC whose face looked like it was rendered during a lunch break, good news — 2K finally tightened things up. This update doesn’t just clean up gameplay logic or polish The City; it delivers a fresh wave of new face scans, hairstyle corrections, and full likeness overhauls that players have been asking for all season. And before you dive into the menus hoping your favorite player finally looks like themselves, yes — we’re getting a solid batch of new scans this time around.

New Face Scans Added

The new additions include several WNBA player scans such as Tina Charles, Rayah Marshall, and Mamignan Touré, plus newcomers like Olivia Nelson-Ododa and Haley Peters. Tattoo updates also landed for names like LaMelo Ball, Anthony Davis, Micah Peavy, and Tyrese Proctor, and many of the newly surfaced scans were shared by community creator Shuajota through his detailed tracking.

But while the new scans help tighten roster accuracy, the biggest spotlight in Patch 3.0 is on the general hairstyle and likeness updates, which bring a noticeable lift to some of the league’s most recognizable players.

Likeness & Hairstyle Updates

LaMelo Ball gets another appearance refresh, Anthony Davis benefits from both tattoo and hairstyle tuning, and players like Desmond Bane, Jimmy Butler, Rudy Gobert, Keyonte George, Rui Hachimura, and Michael Porter Jr. all receive updated likenesses that better match their current real-world looks. Russell Westbrook and James Wiseman also get meaningful visual improvements.

Bronny James Update

One of the cleanest upgrades belongs to Bronny James, whose updated likeness finally captures a more natural, accurate version of his real-life look — a change many players have already praised.

Final Thoughts

With Season 3 prep underway and core modes receiving stability and gameplay updates, the improved scans and hairstyle adjustments in Patch 3.0 give NBA 2K26 a sharper, more authentic presentation as the cycle moves forward.
