We are down to just eight teams remaining in the NBA Playoffs after the end of the first round on Sunday night.

There were some tragic endings to some teams and some intense Game 7's that took place over the weekend.

The No. 7 Golden State Warriors were able to finish their upset over the No. 2 Houston Rockets.

Before this happened, there was a another Game 7 between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clipper that ended in a dominant 120-101 victory for the Nuggets.

Kendrick Perkins degrades James Harden's Game 7 performances

In the dominant performance from the Nuggets, it seemed there was one player that seemed to struggle in the final game of the series – James Harden.

In 35 minutes, Harden finished with seven points, five rebounds and 13 assists, shooting just 2-of-8 from the field.

NBA analyst, Kendrick Perkins took to First Take on Monday morning.

"No one should ever put James Harden before Dwayne Wade because of how he fails in the postseason, especially in Game 7's. He's allergic to Game 7's. He breaks out in rashes," Perkins said.

Perkins also mentioned that Harden "folds like clean sheets" in his history of performances in Game 7's of playoff series.

In his 18-year career, Harden has a record of 3-4 when playing in Game 7's – in those seven games, he's averaged 19.3 points, 7.9 assists, 4.0 turnovers and shoots 36% from the field and 22% from three-point range.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest shooting guards of all time, Harden hasn't returned to the NBA Finals since 2012, the final season he played with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Since then, He's been labeled a 'franchise player' for each of the four teams he's joined, but has yet to lead any of them back to the Finals or capture his first NBA championship.

Harden holds a player option for next season, giving him the choice to re-sign with the Clipper or test free agency in search of his sixth NBA team.
