The Indiana Pacers are currently facing the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
After defeating the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round, the Pacers faced the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the second round series, defeating Cleveland 121-112.
During the matchup against the Cavaliers, the NBA announced a historic feat regarding Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle.
"Congrats to Rick Carlisle of the @Pacers for moving into 14th on the all-time playoff COACHING WINS list!" posted the official social media account of the NBA.
Carlisle is now No. 14 on the all-time playoff coaching wins list. He boasts 76 wins in his coaching career, passing NBA legend Chuck Daly who posted 75 wins, most of which came during his time with the Detroit Pistons.

The following coaches are currently ranked ahead of Carlisle in the all-time playoff coaching wins: Rick Adelman, Lenny Wilkens, George Karl, K.C. Jones, Jerry Sloan, Red Auerbach, Larry Brown, Steve Kerr, Erik Spoelstra, Doc Rivers, Gregg Popovich, Pat Riley and Phil Jackson.
Jackson ranked No. 1 on the all-time playoff coaching wins with 229 victories, most of which came during his time with the Chicago Bulls, pitting Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and company.
In Rick Carlisle's most recent victory in the playoffs, the Pacers were led by Tyrese Halliburton, who posted 22 points, three rebounds and 13 assists.
After stealing home-court advantage, the Indiana Pacers will back on the court on Tuesday, set to face the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET.
Indiana officially leads the second round series 1-0.
