The Cleveland Cavaliers blew out the Washington Wizards during their showdown on Friday, with Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland combining for 44 points.
A total of seven players scored in double figures for the Cavs, with Evan Mobley adding 18 points and Jarrett Allen chipping in 16. The frontcourt duo also grabbed 24 rebounds together, as the Cavs dominated and led by as many as 36 points.
However, it is interesting to note that the game initially ended with a score of 148-114. But, the NBA later changed the final score to 148-115 after discovering a scoring mistake made during the contest.
In an announcement, the NBA revealed that one of rookie guard Tre Johnson's free throws during the second quarter was incorrectly recorded as a miss when he, in fact, made the shot.
The mistake has since been corrected, with the stats adjusted as well. Johnson officially had 19 points on 2-of-3 shooting from the free-throw line.
"The NBA has announced that a scoring error was made during the Cleveland Cavaliers - Washington Wizards game played last night at Capital One Arena," the NBA's statement read.
"With 8:15 remaining in the second quarter, Tre Johnson's (WAS) first free throw attempt was incorrectly entered as a missed free throw, when in fact he made both. As a result, the final score has been changed to Cleveland 148, Washington, 115."

For what it's worth, the error didn't impact the result of the game. When Johnson went to the charity stripe to make his free throws in the second quarter, the Wizards were trailing 50-39.
The Wizards were never able to catch up to the Cavaliers, as Cleveland ended the first half with a 76-60 lead.
