Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 8.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.6 blocks this season in 70 games. He's the oldest (40) active player in the NBA, but The King still put up elite numbers in 2024-25.

In the 2025 playoffs, James averaged 25.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.8 blocks against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who defeated the Lakers in five games.

While Los Angeles didn't go far in the playoffs this year, it was still a banner campaign for James, who got to play with his son, Bronny James, and broke Michael Jordan's record for the oldest player to receive an MVP vote.

James' 2024-25 season got even more special on Friday, as the NBA announced the three All-NBA teams.

The leading scorer of all time made the All-NBA Second Team.

James has made an All-NBA team 21 years in a row. The last time the Akron native didn't make an All-NBA team was his rookie year, 2003-04.

A 21-time All-Star, James has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers (twice), Miami Heat and Lakers. He has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks.

James is a four-time MVP, a four-time Finals MVP and a four-time champion. He's the only player in NBA history to rank top five all-time in points and assists.

A future Hall of Famer, James has a player option to return to the Lakers next season. He can pick up his player option or decline it and become an unrestricted free agent.

As an unrestricted free agent, James can either re-sign with the Lakers or join a new team.
