NBA Blown Away by Jimmy Butler's Shot in Warriors-Rockets Game 6

It's all on the line for the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets on Friday night.

For the Warriors, a home win in Game 6 will allow them to book their spot in the second round. A loss, however, gives Houston the opportunity to return home for a do-or-die Game 7 matchup on Sunday.

Jimmy Butler knows exactly what's at stake for his team here. The big games call for the big players to step up, and Butler made sure to deliver on that premise.

At one point in the third quarter, the six-time All-Star beat the shot clock with an incredible one-handed running floater -- one that had even the NBA blown away.

"Jimmy Buckets with the circus-shot... how did that go in?!?" the league posted on X.

Game 6 has been a close matchup throughout, with neither side able to really pull away in the first three quarters. As of writing, however, the Rockets have mounted a 101-89 lead with a little less than seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Butler has been doing everything he can for Golden State, with the five-time All-NBA forward already up to 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, as of writing.

The Warriors will need more of Butler's heroics in this one, though, if they want to get back in this game.

It's not exactly a must-win game for Golden State, but there's no denying that they will have a much tougher time closing this series if the Rockets are able to force a Game 7 in Houston.
