NBA Draft prospect shows up in spectacular 'Wizard of Oz'-inspired suit

Gradey Dick is not in Kansas anymore, and he dressed for the occasion on Thursday night.

The former Kansas Jayhawk showed up to the NBA Draft in New York wearing a wild red suit jacket that was very clearly modeled after Dorothy's sparkling red shoes from the "Wizard Of Oz."

Just gaze upon this masterpiece.

It looks like he lifted the fabric right off the shoes.

The red shoes are also a nice touch to complete the ensemble.

Dick entered the night as one of the draft's top prospects and one of the best pure shooters in the 2023 class. He hit more than 40 percent of his three-point attempts during his only year at Kansas, while also shooting better than 44 percent from the field. Dick averaged more than 14 points per game.

Along with seeing where each prospect goes, seeing each player's outfit is one of the most intriguing aspects of draft night. Most players really go all-out with it. This is their moment to shine in the spotlight. Dick made sure that nobody was going to shine quite like him on Thursday.

He took that literally as well.
