The Milwaukee Bucks' first-round exit against the Indiana Pacers resulted in various trade rumors around Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks finished a disappointing early NBA playoff exit for the third year in a row. With the lack of success, some believe the Greek Freak will look for a different situation.
Rumors have emerged, and many believe a Western Conference team could be the next chapter for Antetokounmpo. However, longtime NBA expert and Boston Celtics superfan Bill Simmons suggested a different idea.
According to Simmons, a trade centered around the Bucks' star to the Cleveland Cavaliers should be considered. He named one-time All-Star and the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year, Evan Mobley, as the player the Milwaukee franchise could trade for.
Simmons said that if it were up to him, he'd execute a trade that would exchange the two forwards.
"Mobley for Giannis straight up. What do you think? Straight up. He's six and a half years younger... I think I'm doing it. I think it's a great trade," the expert said on "The Bill Simmons Podcast."

A potential deal between the two teams would heavily impact each organization's future. For the Cavaliers, they'll have a top star in the league who could do a lot of things on both ends.
The Bucks, meanwhile, will have a young and promising forward. Mobley finished the 2024-25 season and emerged as a first-time All-Star. He's starting to show his potential, which could entice Milwaukee if the day Antetokounmpo requests a trade comes.
It could be a win-win situation for the 2021 Finals MVP and the organization. Antetokounmpo will get to play for a contender and the Bucks could secure a bright future ahead.
