The New York Knicks weren’t ready to call it a season. They fought back, defeating the Indiana Pacers, 111-94, extending the series to a sixth game.
Jalen Brunson, who many have criticized recently, stepped up big for New York. Brunson scored a game-high 32 points on 12-18 shooting. He also added five rebounds and five assists.
Brunson wasn’t the only Knick to step up. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 24 points while grabbing 13 rebounds. Three other players, including Josh Hart, scored in double figures, helping New York’s offense.
For the Pacers, their star guard, Tyrese Haliburton, had an off game. He scored just eight points on 2-7 shooting.
The only bright spot for Indiana in Game 5 was Bennedict Mathurin. The young player scored 23 points while grabbing nine rebounds.
After the game ended, fans erupted on social media over the Knicks extending the series to a sixth game.

The Pacers will be back at home and should finish the Knicks off. If they do not, there’s a good chance New York will be the team clinching the final spot in the NBA Finals.
