Like it or not, Trae Young keeps demonstrating he belongs to the elite of the NBA. The Atlanta Hawks guard is having a terrific season, taking things to the next level in the 2021 playoffs.

The Hawks continue their good pace with a win against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. Trae dropped 48 points on Giannis Antetokounmpo and co. to steal the first game of the series and the home-court advantage. Even though the Bucks aren't as hostile as the New York Knicks or Philadelphia 76ers, Trae keeps bullying people, teasing rivals every night.

During the 3rd quarter of the game, Young trolled the Bucks with a shimmy right before sinking a 3-pointer. He got past Jrue Holiday, and when nobody went to guard him, the 22-year-old shook his shoulders and shot his shot.

Of course, this play sparked many reactions around the league. Fans were quick to praise and call Trae out for this move. After Redditor "mnbnd" shared the video, fans went crazy over it.

This dude is a f*cking performer. Like it’s not just basketball, he’s literally putting on a show.

truly a career year for the 2018 draft class

Trae found out the Globetrotters were applying to be an NBA team so he's auditioning.

Trae Young is f*cking around throwing lobs off the glass and shimmying prior 3s before draining them he’s built DIFFERENT y’all it’s a new gen we’re witnessing

You better make the shot if you’re gonna do something like that, lol.

You do somethig like that cus you know youre gonna make the shot

My only prediction for this series is that Bucks fans will hate Trae by the end

I hate him now lol

The man is so damn COLD

This was so disrespectful. I love it

This boy’s a demon

What an a**hole...

I f*cking love it

He's one hell of a villain

Dude loves being hated. It's a beautiful thing to see.

Even LeBron James had something to say, reacting to the play on social media.

Trae is just having a blast on the court. He's embracing his role as a villain and is backing it up with his performances. The 2020/21 season has been nothing but great for him, and if the Bucks don't find the way to stop him, they will have a hard time in this series.
