On Monday night in Charlotte against the Hornets, the former Duke star had 41 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.
He also nailed six three-pointers.
According to StatMuse, it is the third time in his career he has had a game of at least 40 points, five rebounds, five assists and five three-pointers.
That would be the most in the entire history of the Celtics.
The Celtics and Hornets went into overtime, but the Celtics crushed the Hornets 18-7 in the extra period to win the game 140-129.
The loss was the first of the season for the Hornets who are now 3-1.
Meanwhile, the win got the Celtics back to .500 with a 2-2 record.
Tatum's All-Star teammate Jaylen Brown also had a big night scoring 30 points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out three assists.
