With the news that Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal will be coming off the bench moving forward, a trade seems more likely than ever. Not only has Beal had some of his worst years as a pro in Phoenix, but the team has been suffering as well, currently sitting at 15-18, which is good for 12th in the Western Conference.
The problem is that trading Beal is trickier than it seems, as he is one of two players in the NBA with a no-trade clause in their contract. The other is LeBron James. Plus, Beal will be making over $50M in each of the last three years of his contract, potentially making it difficult for interested teams to match his salary.
Despite this, NBA insider and longtime reporter John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM gave a list of teams for which Beal would consider waiving his no-trade clause.
As for Beal the no-trade looms large. He could have went to Milwaukee before he ended up in Phoenix but that was turned down. Have heard he would waive no trade for LA, Miami, Denver but I do believe there are a few others that he could ultimately decide work for him.

Given Jimmy Butler's recent trade request and the Suns' reportedly increasing interest, a potential Beal/Butler swap seems more possible by the day.
Beal is averaging 17.8 PPG, his lowest average since 2015, but he is still an efficient offensive threat. In a new, different offensive system, one could believe that Beal could potentially return to the All-Star level player he once was.
Regardless of what happens, the Suns must figure something out and soon. The Western Conference has been a bloodbath this season, and they cannot continue to lag behind the rest of the pack if they want a chance to contend.
