Jaylen Brown has received an offer from Dwight Howard amid his on-court struggles.

The Boston Celtics star has been involved in at least three incidents this season in which opponents walked away with black smudges on their clothing.

Brown, the highest-paid player in the NBA, has been the butt of jokes during the early portion of the 2025-26 campaign, with accusations regarding the use of black hairline spray now rife after he was caught on camera leaving black streaks on OG Anunoby, Ronald Holland II and Kyshawn George.

The last incident had him calling out AI, suggesting he’s been a victim of edited footage. Unsurprisingly, no one’s buying it.

Even rapper Rick Ross has urged Brown to give up trying to save his hair. Ross pleaded with the Celtics star to “end the madness,” pointing out that hair spray is difficult to get away with as a basketball player.

Howard, who believes he set Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic on the path to greatness , is now offering his assistance after Brown jokingly reached out to LeBron James to find out whether he should head to Turkey to fix his hair problems.

“Yo Jaylen Brown you don’t need to go to Turkey I know a barber that will get you right without the black paint he got me right when I was almost going bald,” the Hall of Famer wrote in a tweet.

Howard has never appeared to have any struggles with his hair, yet if he’s being honest about that barber, he’s definitely worth looking into, as the 39-year-old’s top is thriving.

Brown scored 32 points in the Celtics' 123-110 loss to the Orlando Magic in the NBA Cup on Friday night.
