Magic Johnson had a legendary NBA career, playing 13 seasons in the NBA.
He went on to make 12 All-Star Game appearances, capture five NBA titles and win three Finals MVP awards.
He retired in 1996 and, since then, has made plenty of moves in business and in the community.
Johnson has ownership stake in several professional sports teams, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Sparks and LAFC through his investment and media company called Magic Johnson Enterprises.
The former Los Angeles Laker made waves earlier this month after announcing he has been named the 2026 Marshal of the 137th Rose Bowl Parade.
And on Tuesday, Johnson took to social media to make another announcement.
"I’ve got something special for you!" Johnson said in a joint post with Cigna Healthcare. "I’ve teamed up with Cigna Healthcare to create 'Magic Sounds' – a collection of therapeutic sounds and music designed to help support your mental health. Music has always helped me stay grounded, focused and uplifted. Now, I’m sharing that energy with you — to help you find your calm, your rhythm and your balance."
Johnson has been a big advocate for mental health awareness. He was diagnosed with HIV in 1991 and has often shared what that diagnosis did to his mental state.
It wasn't an easy road for Johnson early on, but over time, he has learned to stay positive and help others dealing with similar diseases.
