Magic Johnson is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NBA history.
Johnson spent his entire NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers, having led his team to several league titles during his Hall of Fame run.
While many view Johnson as a former NBA star and some may even connect him with his former executive role with the Lakers, he's also made some incredible moves outside of basketball.
On Wednesday, Magic Johnson highlighted an incredible achievement.
"This morning, I’m still taking in what a magical moment it was to receive the 2025 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Center Ripple of Hope Award on his 100th birthday was something I will cherish forever," Johnson said.
Johnson received the 2025 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award for his years of service with Magic Johnson's Enterprises, which provides products and services for underserved communities.
The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award is presented by the RFK Human Rights team annually to highlight exemplary leaders in government, business and entertainment.
Magic Johnson played with the Los Angeles Lakers from 1979 to 1991 and joined the team during the 1996 season. During his time with the Lakers, Johnson went on to lead Los Angeles to five NBA titles while winning three Finals MVPs and three regular-season MVP awards.
