NBA Legend Michael Jordan Has a New Net Worth in 2026

The increase places him 984th among the world’s richest people, reinforcing his position as the wealthiest former athlete on the planet. Jordan made roughly $90 million over his 15 NBA seasons. But his endorsement deals turned out to be much more profitable. 

The Bulls Legend has made around $2.4 billion in pre-tax revenues through long-standing collaborations with companies like Nike, Hanes, and Gatorade. In terms of investments, Jordan entered the quickly expanding sports betting market in September 2020 when he joined DraftKings. He joined the sports betting startup as an investor and special advisor to the board. In the same year, he became the co-owner of the NASCAR team 23XI Racing.

Although sources suggest he kept a minority ownership share in the Charlotte Hornets, Jordan sold his majority stake in the team in 2023. He also co-founded the tequila brand Cincoro that sponsors the Lakers. Speaking of the LA team, Jordan’s GOAT rival LeBron James also made it to the list courtesy of his $1.4 billion net worth. But unsurprisingly, Jordan maintains a big gap from James in the Forbes list.
