NBA Makes Announcement After Milwaukee Bucks vs. LA Clippers
© Matt Krohn-USA TODAY Sports

Following a dunk on Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis, LA Clippers forward Brandon Boston Jr. was hit with a technical foul that has since been rescinded by the NBA. The league announced on Monday afternoon that Boston's technical foul had been rescinded, which of course doesn't change the game's score, but does save him some money.

These announcements can be frustrating for teams, because while it's good for Boston that he will not have to pay the technical foul fine, the Clippers still surrendered a free point on a technical foul free throw that the NBA has since determined should not have been awarded to Milwaukee.

While this game of course was not decided by one point, the Bucks still should have not been awarded a free throw, which the NBA has since admitted. For Boston, it's of course good to not have this technical foul anymore, as he didn't do anything that met the criteria for being issued one.

The Clippers fell to the Bucks 124-117, but they put up an impressive fight without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook. Several different Clippers stepped up into roles much bigger than they are used to playing, and LA was almost able to upset Milwaukee with a very shorthanded roster.

The Clippers will play again on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
