The Los Angeles Lakers took down the Utah Jazz for a second straight game, with Luka Doncic leading the way en route to a 108-106 win.
The Slovenian star recorded a near triple-double of 33 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists to power the Lakers to their fourth straight victory. He shot 41.7% from deep and also had three steals in a thrilling showdown that saw Utah cut L.A.'s lead to just one with 41 seconds left.
Los Angeles improved to 12-4 with the win, keeping them among the top three teams in the Western Conference.
Doncic has been sensational in his first full season with the Lakers so far. In fact, following his performance on Sunday, he achieved an NBA first.
According to the NBA, the 26-year-old guard is the first player in league history to record at least 400 points and 100 assists through 12 games played. In total, Doncic has already tallied 414 points and 107 assists.

With his performance so far, it's not a surprise why Doncic is a top-three MVP candidate this campaign.
If the Lakers continue to improve their record as well, it will be hard to ignore Doncic for the highest individual award, considering how much he's doing for the franchise.
The Lakers play the Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans this week. All three teams are below .500 and have lost their latest games, which means Doncic has a good chance to keep stuffing the stat sheet while extending the team's winning streak.
