The Los Angeles Lakers suffered another loss on Friday night, falling to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a final score of 101-93. This was the Lakers' fourth loss in five games, dropping their overall record to 11-8 on the season.

Lakers star LeBron James struggled in this loss, scoring just 12 points on 5/13 from the field. Adding five turnovers, James was a team-worst -12 in the losing effort. James' co-star Anthony Davis also finished well below his season scoring average, tallying just 15 points in 38 minutes.

This loss brought the Lakers into a tie for sixth place in the Western Conference standings.

On Saturday, the NBA admitted one missed call in the final two minutes of this game. Per the league's Last Two Minute Report, James got away with an offensive foul with 1:26 remaining.

"James (LAL) extends his right foot forward into Wallace's (OKC) path and initiates foot to foot contact during the screen," the NBA admitted.

This was the only incorrect call on the Last Two Minute Report, and it came on a crucial play. At the time of James' illegal contact on this screen, Oklahoma City led the Lakers just 95-91. James ended up missing a three-point attempt shortly after the missed call, which would have cut LA's deficit to just one point.

The Lakers are now beginning a four-game road trip that starts on Sunday against the Utah Jazz. Utah is just 4-14 on the season, which gives the Lakers a good opportunity to get back in the win column.
