It has been an incredible season thus far for the Oklahoma City Thunder as they have made their way to the Western Conference Finals after finishing the regular season with the best record in the NBA.

Oklahoma City has also gotten off to a hot start in the Conference Finals as they were victorious in the first two games of the series to take a 2-0 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Of course, the Thunder have been led by star point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander this season who was fresh off being named the 2024-25 NBA MVP on Wednesday night before commissioner Adam Siler presented him with the trophy before Game 2 on Thursday.

Shai was recognized once again by the NBA on Friday night before Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals as he was named to the 2024-25 All-NBA First Team.

He was joined by Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics and Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers on the first team.

This is a massive honor for Shai and the rest of the players awarded on Friday night as they were all well-deserved after their incredible seasons.

It is just another incredible achievement for Shai who put together the best season of his career as he led the Thunder to the best record in the NBA.

This season, the 26-year-old point guard averaged 32.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 51.9% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range.

Shai also took home his first career MVP award after he was able to beat out Jokic in the MVP race.

Now Shai and the Thunder will look to continue their dominance this season on Saturday night as they head to Minnesota for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead.
